I bought cosplay contact lenses for the first time from the online circle lens store, PinkyParadise. I chose their store because of their prices, low shipping cost, and selection of styles in my prescription. I’ll be sharing my shopping experience and reviewing what I bought!
📦Ordering & Shipping
I placed my order on October 30, 2021, during their Halloween sale since they had huge discounts! Highly recommend buying during that sale to get the best deal. I bought 4 sets of contact lenses for my cosplays: Ryomen Sukuna and Kugasaki Nobara (Jujutsu Kaisen), Kocho Shinobu (Demon Slayer), and Sophie Hatter (Howl's Moving Castle). Each pair came with a free cute animal lens case too! I also purchased a 5-in-1 transparent storage case which would help me easily see and store all the lenses. The total cost of my order was $52.29. I qualified for free standard shipping since I spent over $49, with delivery estimated to take 21-30 business days.
It took a total of 45 days for shipping and delivery (keep in mind this was still during the pandamonium times when shipping let alone international shipping was a mess). My order shipped from Malaysia and then was held in Germany for about a month. When it came to being past the estimated delivery date I emailed customer service to ask for an update. They emailed back promptly and with an updated tracking URL. Soon after that, it arrived in NY and was finally delivered to me! It came in pink bubble wrap packaging and everything was safe and protected by more bubble wrap and foam inside.

💞Choosing Which Cosplay Contacts / Prescription
My choice of which contact lenses to buy was based on the color and prescription I needed. I estimated what might be the most comfortable in terms of base curve and diameter. If the base curve is smaller than my prescription the contacts would feel tighter and the bigger base curve will fit looser. The bigger the diameter the larger the size. All the lenses I purchased are a yearly prescription. As a reference, my contact lens prescription as of 2022 is R -2.00 L -1.75 Base Curve 9 Diameter 14.3. I'm a near-sighted ol bat lol.

🔴Red for Ryomen Sukuna - super comfortable, the comfiest out of all of lenses, bright red color, makes my eyes look fierce af

🟣Purple for Kocho Shinobu - such a vivid gorgeous color, also sadly not the most comfortable, it’s a hit or miss when they want to be comfy

🟠Yellow Brown for Kugasaki Nobara - only tried these on once and I looked crazy lol, thought it would be more browner but it gives a more werewolf yellow, and sadly not comfy at all

💖Transparent Contact Lens Storage Case $3.99 - so happy I bought this, it stores all my contacts easily so I can see them, and I love the applicator that comes with this case, makes putting the lenses in a lot more sanitary and easier than using my fingers
